Plugin Allience and SPL introduced new Transient Designer Plus. It is reworked version of good old transient designer with cool new features like internal and external sidechaining, new soft-clip limiter that gives subtle distortion for the overdriven signal, undo/redo functions and global setups that can be stored, automated and recalled (for example for intro/verse1/chorus/verse2).
